Day 3!!!

When you wake up to this view you know it’s going to be a great day. 64 degrees and a cup of coffee. Life is good….

Taking advantage of the weather we decided to head out early…..No real breakfast today which was a bit disappointing :)…..powered eggs are not real just sayin

We had a quick road pit stop while waiting on road construction. Stretched out and ready to go.

Back on the road to Mt Magazine National Park……and a little drama happened. So we are cruising about 60 mph and all is good. Then all of a sudden my bike’s transmission disengaged and the bike shut off while I’m still cruising down the road. So not good…..I may have said a few choice words 🤬

I managed to pull off to the shoulder and park the bike. Dad turned around to come back and see what happened. Well apparently somehow I accidentally hit the kill switch next to the throttle (yeah I know I know). Not real sure how I did that….weird…. Anyway I think Dads heart skipped a couple of beats when he looked in his mirror and I was not back there. So I get the “dumas” award today.

Recovered from the drama and back on the road to Mt. Magazine. The views were amazing and the twisty roads were a lot of fun.

We stopped at the top of the mountain for lunch at the lodge. Shout out to Randy for the location as the food and view was great This was our view while eating.

After spending a couple hours relaxing we headed back down the mountain and onto Ozark where we booked a room at the 5 star resort Oxford Inn….

We got checked in and verified the room is bed bug free….I kidd…next on the agenda was a nap to recover.

Finally Dad woke up from his nap and we walked .3 miles (so apparently yesterday was 2.6 miles not 5 miles).

So if your restaurant neighbor is a cemetery ….🤔….oh well we were hungry and nothing a margarita can’t fix
