Day 1!!!

So it’s super late as day one was a long ride 382 miles. Of course we started the ride going through Weatherford as that’s where all trips start (inside family joke). It was the hotter than hell sprint to Amarillo. You can see I got a little sun burned. The sun block I used was garbage. So tired from the heat and wind. Dad and I were chugging Gatorade and water. We decided last minute to not go to Lubbock. Instead we had steak in Amarillo with a few beers

Yeah we got picked up by a limo with long horns on the front. The driver pulled up to the amazing Super 8 to get us.

All in all day 1 was hot and well West Texas scenery but we had a lot fun.

Tomorrow is NewMexico and then Colorado. It will be a lot of fun. And Josh what the heck does keep your head on the swivel mean. Dad said you would know 🙄.
