Day 1

After a long year of crazy we are back for a ride through the Ozarks. Maybe we will stop and talk to Marty (Netflix joke)……But before we leave I needed a little help from my mini me’s to get the old bike shining again.

Bikes are shined up and ready to hit the road. The temperature is 98 but it feels like 108 🙂

First stop of the day is of course Dairy Queen…#culturedadstilltrying. I have to admit a blizzard did taste amazing.

Made a second pit stop to pick up Randy. Looks like he is out having margaritas without us :(. If I call the phone number on the sign do I get a free margarita?

After a hot but quick ride we made it to Durant OK, however Dad got a little lost trying to find the hotel using his HD navigation. No worries as I used my old school technique of just looking around until I spotted it.

Finally some cold beer and BBQ while we try to figure out the weather situation tomorrow. Forecasts says a big storm is on its way.

Dad is hard at work as he awaits his AT&T phone to load. No worries I have my Verizon phone.

Finally a bit of relaxing at the casino……We played blackjack for hours and left with a little money in our pocket. We did miss playing roulette with our old friend Russ.
