Another great day of riding….en route to Taos NM. Dad and I started out by meeting up with our special guest the infamous Randy Price in Lubbock, or as we like to say dad’s “business partner” (inside joke if you haven’t heard it definitely ask).

After hearing about all our fun trips…. Randy broke down and bought him a Harley. Very nice bike and all blacked out. Awesome bike Mr. Price!!!

Dad was super excited Randy had on Harley riding boots. Not real sure why 🤔 but hey it’s the small things. They are cool boots and definitely beat the New Balance 608’s (if you know what these are you gotta laugh just sayin).

On to breakfast at the Chicken Run. Need to gear up for a long windy ride/day.

Breakfast was good and now time to head out. As we say “Keep your head on the swivel”

Along the scenic route we made a few pit stops and took pictures of all the amazing scenery. Lol…😬 not really a lot to see so far. Although we did experience 50 mph wind gust so that was interesting 🫣. Hold on tight and keep one eye open is what I learned!!!

The 3 Amigo’s made it through the wind tunnel and now taking a much needed break. The good news is the temperature broke and it’s now in the low 80’s.

Finally it’s lunch time at the Silver Moon Mexican restaurant. It was pretty good and gave us some time to plan out our route to Taos. A lot of big fires up here causing lots of problems for people.

After lunch we road on, however made a quick pit stop on the side of the road as the dedicated fearless leader of Tri-Tex Grass had a work call to take. No judging here….as we have all been there. Also it was nice to relax a few minutes as we waited.

Now it’s getting late afternoon and time to cool down at the DQ with a blizzard. Unfortunately they were closed with drive thru only. Weird….thought Covid was over. Who knows probably a bunch of liberals….I kidd…😂 I kidd 😬

Since we can’t go in we moved down the road to Wendy’s. Not as good as a blizzard, but hey it did the trick. Dad was enjoying his.

Finally we made it to Taos and got settled in. Finished off the day with a round of cold beers and stories of the day. Good times!!!

Oh and we went 385.6 miles today. Which is a lot on bike. A little sore but well worth it !!! Until tomorrow Sayonara!!!
